Limberlost Complete!

Whew! I finally finished reading Girl of the Limberlost. This is a cute and, for the most part, uplifting story set in the old world of Indiana. Like most classics, it is incredibly long, but that’s par for the course.

One thing I did find funny is that our heroine, Elnora, claimed that her love interest’s previous fiancée was too much drama (I’m rephrasing into today’s language) and then turned around and created so much drama that her love interest ended up in the hospital with a drama fever!

No, she didn’t see the irony in this, and apparently, neither did any of the other characters!
