I’m Blair Bronwyn—author, traveler, and citizen of a country that still has not reckoned with our history.
I write historical fiction and screenplays because I believe the past is a mirror of the present—and too often, we turn away. In a culture that prizes convenience over reflection, I aim to tell stories that remind us of where we need to go.
I came of age when scones were the big hit—back when we didn’t use algorithms to create our conversations. When climate change was just a theory. When politicians at least pretended they were putting the country first.
My work wrestles with identity, dislocation, justice, and the quiet ways people resist systems that were never built for them.
I grew up in Texas, where many of my stories take place, and now live in Colorado. When I’m not writing, I travel and study languages.
