Crying Hearts

Sometimes, knowing the loved ones we’ve lost are now at peace is what it takes to quiet our own crying hearts.

Some of my writing has to do with death and how we cope with our own mortality. But what our ability to cope with knowing there is unfinished business with a lost one?

In this quote from A Warhorse Fallen, I’m talking about the need to “lay our loved ones to rest”.

It seems to be a universal human need to ensure our departed are at peace in the afterlife.
